Christmas Day Five 2025: A new group of 5 Premature Infants, Their Mothers, and Families.

A joyful Rwandan mother, surrounded by village children, eagerly anticipates the arrival of her new community member.

On this Christmas Day 2025, five prematurely born babies will be receiving life-saving treatment in a hospital in Rwanda, Africa, while their mothers recover from delivery. Each mother will stay in the hospital and provide care for as long as their baby has to stay, even if it's weeks to months in duration, even if other children, elderly family members, livestock, or other businesses depend on her being home.

The Early Lift ministry originated from my awareness of this over a year ago. Then, God blessed Rwandan Drs. Patrick and Marie, along with me, to assist in seeing our first five premature babies and their mothers leave the hospital, return to their families, and become involved with each other through in-home Bible studies. As months passed, each family member obtained health insurance, and each family became financially self-supporting.

This Christmas day, we will be celebrating the gift of our Savior, Jesus, by beginning support of another five newly born premature infants, their mothers, and families in Rwanda, Africa.
